It all started in 1908 on a 60-acre family farm in Burlington, MA.  Four generations of the Given family went from farming... to horticulture in the 1940's... to floriculture in the 1960's... to retail flower stores and a landscaping company in the 1970's... and a garden center in the 1980's. 

Family businesses have included Given Brothers market farmers, Given's Florist, GIven-Erwin Garden Center and Burlington Landscaping.
